I provide fun, supportive piano and keyboard lessons for children and adults, with a strong focus on tailoring each session to the individual. With over 25 years of teaching experience, I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities.

Lessons are designed to balance creativity with solid musical foundations. Alongside learning to read music and understand theory, I encourage students to explore playing by ear, improvisation, and developing their own musical voice. I teach classical, jazz and pop styles and have guided many students successfully through AMEB and ABRSM exams over the years.

In addition to teaching, I’m a qualified music therapist with over 15 years’ experience in hospital and community mental health settings. This informs a calm, client-centred approach, and I have a particular interest in supporting students with performance anxiety or those who have felt blocked or unsure about learning music in the past.
