Amelie Abayaratna

I help students develop the skills they need to become confident and independent piano players. Lessons focus on reading music and notes, improving sight-reading, learning music theory, and developing rhythm and technique. Students will also learn how to play songs and gradually take on more challenging pieces as their skills improve.

I can adapt lessons to suit each student’s experience and learning pace, while helping them build a strong foundation in piano. My aim is to help students not only learn individual songs, but also understand how to read and play music independently.
