Tenor Horn Lessons

I’m happy to teach Tenor horn students from age 8 upwards, with adults in particular very welcome.

I have a Bachelor degree in Music Performance on the French horn from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (2007), and many years of experience playing in brass bands (also for a short time on cornet and baritone), concert bands, orchestras, musicals, and small ensembles, including freelance work. I also have many years of previous experience playing the Tenor horn and French horn in State, National and local band competitions in all grades from A to D as well as solo competitions including State solos and local Eisteddfods.

I’ll enjoy working together with you or your child toward technique improvement, learning repertoire, and for leisure.

As a trained and experienced French horn player I would also be very happy to help with transitioning between the French horn and Tenor horn.
