Singing Lessons - Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music

Ashlee Woodgate is an Australian soprano and vocal coach who grew up in Tamworth and now travels regularly to teach at the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music. After completing her early musical training in Tamworth, Ashlee moved away to pursue advanced vocal studies and professional performance opportunities, gaining extensive experience across opera, musical theatre and contemporary performance in Australia and internationally.

Ashlee previously taught on a regular weekly basis at the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music and now returns once a month to offer high-quality, personalised vocal lessons for local students. These sessions allow singers to work with a teacher who brings current industry experience and advanced technical knowledge back to the Tamworth community.

Monthly teaching sessions are typically held over Friday and Saturday at the beginning of each month, providing focused, one-on-one, face-to-face lessons tailored to each student’s goals. Lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults, from beginners through to advanced singers.

For students who would like more regular support, weekly online (Zoom) lessons are available between monthly visits. This combined approach allows students to maintain consistency, receive ongoing guidance, and continue building technique and confidence while still benefiting from in-person lessons.

Between sessions, students are provided with clear practice strategies and guidance to support steady progress from month to month.
