Music Theory, Aural Skills and Sight Reading

I am offering Theory tuition for people wishing to study the AMEB method, either for your own interest or for those wishing to sit exams. Theory is incredibly important for anyone learning a musical instrument, as it gives the individual a more thorough and comprehensive understanding of what makes up the music we play.

Aural and Sight Reading are skills that unlike our practical music skills, don't get practiced nearly as much as they should. They are skills that don't necessarily come easily to everyone, and are also difficult to practice alone, especially if you have little or no direction or planning in your approach.
These are skills that can be improved.
If you find you can not 'hear' the music before you play it, or you have difficulty recalling rhythms or short melodies, then Aural and Sight Reading Training is for you.
