I’ve been part of the Suzuki world since I was five years old — first as a student, now as a teacher and performing musician. I teach violin and viola from my studio in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, and have been part of this community for over ten years.
My teaching is rooted in Suzuki philosophy but goes beyond repertoire — I care about tone, expression, sight reading, and making sure every student feels genuine agency in their own learning. I’m currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium.
The Suzuki approach works best when families are involved, and I love that aspect of my teaching — parents and carers are welcome and encouraged to be part of the lesson, especially with younger students.
If you’re curious, come and observe a lesson. That’s the best way to know if we’re a good fit.
