Piano lessons

Piano, Clavinova and Theory lessons for students aged 6 years to adult, complete beginner to Diploma level.
Learn for fun or sit AGMS exams.
With 35 years teaching experience, Christina is also an examiner, adjudicator, published composer and arranger, clinician, music engraver and student teacher mentor.

Lessons are fun and Christina is kind, encouraging and patient.

Theory is taught using games and manipulatives to make learning fun and more memorable. Ranging from younger students using small animal toys to find notes on the piano, to advanced students using games to learn rhythm.
I teach students to read music both the traditional way, and using iPad apps. Students love trying to beat their previous levels and/or scores - especially the adults!
Students bounce in the door to come to their lessons, and are excited to practice at home using their ipad.
Students can also perform in concerts and competitions or sit exams if they like.
