Woodwind lessons

Hi, I’m Liz! I’m a passionate music educator, musician and Musical Director with over 20 years of experience teaching music in Primary Schools and working with young musicians.

I love helping students discover the joy of making music and building their confidence along the way. My teaching style is encouraging, practical and student-focused, with a strong emphasis on developing good foundations while making lessons enjoyable and engaging.

As an accomplished woodwind player, I have extensive experience working with school bands, ensembles and orchestras, as well as directing youth music programs. I currently work with young musicians in public schools am the Musical Director of the a local youth community band.

Whether a student is picking up an instrument for the very first time, preparing for a school band, or looking to develop their skills further, I aim to create a supportive environment where they can feel comfortable, have fun and be proud of their progress.
