Violin Lessons - AMEB, Suzuki, leisure

About me

HI, my name is Emily and I am a 3rd year data science student at UNSW and I love teaching the violin!

• Started playing when I was 7 and have completed an AmusA Diploma.
• Currently have 15 students and will be taking accepting up to a capacity of 20.
• Can teach students from beginner level (Preliminary or Suzuki) up to Grade 8 if you are interested in completing AMEB grades. Learning for leisure and enjoyment is welcome too!
• Lessons range from 30 min, 45 min, to 60 min at a rate of $50 per half hour.
• Can also teach in both english and mandarin.

Expectations for you:

• You are motivated to practise at least 4 days a week, 20-60 minutes a day depending on your level and goals.
• You can come to my home for lessons weekly. I am based in the Carlingford/West Pennant Hills area so suggested close suburbs for convenient travel include Epping, Eastwood, Beecroft, and Castle Hill but of course this is only a guideline.
• You will always try your best!

Expectations for me:

• Learning pace and methods will be customised to your personal learning speed and goals.
• I will provide detailed and actionable feedback and encouragement to help you improve quickly and build confidence.
• If you would like, I can teach you any pieces or songs you would like to learn for personal enjoyment.

Happy to have a trial lesson to get to know you better! (you only pay for the lesson if you wish to continue with lessons:)
