Guitar Lessons

Hello, my name is Fionn!

I’m a versatile guitarist with over 20 years of experience in education, performance, composition, and production. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your technique, I tailor lessons to suit your goals and learning style.

After completing a Certificate in Music Production at Barnet College, I earned a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the University of Westminster (London). I’ve taught guitar privately and at a variety of institutions across London, Sydney, and Melbourne, helping students prepare for VCE and AMEB exams, performances, and ensemble work in various styles, including rock, blues, jazz, fingerstyle, classical, and contemporary.

As a performer, I’ve headlined at the National Gallery of Victoria and released music with UK-based labels such as Tuckshop and CoOp Presents. My solo project, Finn Irregular, is available on all streaming platforms.

I focus on developing strong technique, musicality, improvisation, and creativity in a fun, supportive environment. I’ve helped students of all ages and skill levels achieve their musical goals.

I teach from my home studio on Thornbury High Street, welcoming students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re learning your first chord or mastering complex solos, I’d love to help you reach your musical goals.
