I believe that music lessons should be a fun, encouraging and creative environment and seek to tailor each lesson to the individual's needs and goals. Whether you are learning for fun or looking to do grade examinations; my lessons are focussed on getting the most out of your flute playing and achieving your goals.

Type of lessons I teach:

• AMEB Exam, Audition or Competition Preparation.
• Lessons in Fundamental Skills - Beginner to Advanced
• Non-Exam Flute Lessons (learning for fun, to play songs of any genre of interest and improvisation)

Key Focus Areas Include:

• Best methods to practice and memorise pieces
• Developing correct breathing techniques
• Sight Reading and Aural Skills
• Improvisation across genres

I am a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium where I earned my Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance and have completed my Amus through AMEB as well as my ATCL through Trinity College.

My teaching studio is located in Wynnum West with access to parking. Feel free to give me a call to arrange your first lesson!
