Violin Lessons

With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners through to advanced players. I believe strong foundations set students up to experience the joy of making music together, and I aim to create engaging, supportive lessons that are tailored to each student's individual needs and goals.

I have extensive experience teaching using the Suzuki Method and have found it to be an excellent approach for many young beginners. I also have a thorough understanding of the AMEB syllabus from Preliminary to Grade 8 and enjoy preparing students for examinations where these align with their goals. Alongside classical repertoire, I'm always happy to incorporate fiddle music and traditional tunes for students interested in exploring a wider range of musical styles.
