Newy Sax - Saxophone Lessons

LEARN SAXOPHONE

BEGINNER LESSONS
Learning saxophone as a beginner? Let me guide you through what to expect from the initial practice sessions and share the most common mistakes new sax players make!

SAX AT SCHOOL
Looking for a saxophone teacher to help with your child’s school band program? I am the resident woodwind tutor at New Lambton Public School and Belmont High School. I have experience preparing students for concerts, music examinations, HSC and more!

I am a registered Creative Kids Provider so please check your eligibility!

SAXOPHONE FOR FUN
Is there a song that motivated you to pick up the saxophone in the first place? I’ll show you how to play that song, and how to use your ear to learn songs yourself.

GRADES
Some students prefer the rigidity of a traditional examination structure. I am a registered teacher with the major music boards AMEB and Trinity Music College and have experience guiding students through both examinations.

YOUR SAXOPHONE TEACHER (JAKE)

Saxophone lessons are all provided by myself Jacob Graham, and guided by over 15 years of experience. Including a Bachelor of Music at the Conservatorium of Newcastle and various teaching positions with school bands and music camps.

Every student has a unique way of learning and finds their motivation for playing in different areas. I am lucky to have found what I love doing in pursuing that motivation!

I have a current Working With Children Check and parents are welcome to view all lessons from the adjoining soundproof room.
