Personal Profile

Kerry is an experienced and passionate piano teacher who particularly enjoys working with children. She has extensive experience preparing students for music examinations, competitions and performances, and takes great satisfaction in helping students develop their skills, confidence and musicality as they progress to more advanced levels.

Between 2015 and 2019, Kerry undertook her Bachelor of Music studies at the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music at Monash University and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music at the University of Melbourne. During her university studies, she successfully presented a number of solo recitals and gained extensive performance experience.

Kerry has also received training in the Alexander Technique and Suzuki Method, which have contributed to her flexible, engaging and student-focused approach to piano teaching.

From 2017 to 2026, Kerry has successfully organised and presented student concerts at venues including Methodist Ladies' College and the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS), providing her students with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, stage presence and performance experience.

Kerry teaches students of all levels, including students attending schools such as Caulfield Grammar School, Presbyterian Ladies' College, Methodist Ladies' College and Carey Baptist Grammar School.

She has a strong track record of preparing students for examinations conducted by respected organisations including the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB), the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity College London. Her students have consistently achieved excellent examination results, with approximately 99% receiving A or A+ results.

Kerry has also successfully mentored students who have received first, second and third prizes, as well as Honourable Mentions, at competitions such as the Ringwood Eisteddfod and Boroondara Eisteddfod.
