Piano Lessons

Piano lessons are available for all ages and skill levels ranging from complete beginner to approximately 7th Grade Exam Level.
Lisa Cheney's Music Studio provides private one-on-one lessons for 45 or 60 minutes, usually on a weekly basis.

Lessons can be tailored to suit the interests of the student, including exams, improvisation, composing and just playing for fun, always within a supportive, safe and creative environment.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Composition from the QLD Conservatorium of Music, a Queensland Government Blue Card, is a represented composer of the Australian Music Centre and has been professional member of the MTAQ Music Teachers' Association Queensland. She is currently completing her PhD in Composition and tutors at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in the courses Music Language 1 and Composition Studies.
