Violin Lessons

Hi there,

I'm Marshall, a professional violinist & teacher. I have been playing the violin for twenty years and teaching for eight. I hold a Bachelor of Music Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music & Master of Music Performance from the Royal Danish Academy of Music.

I have played with orchestras such as the Copenhagen Philharmonic, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Malmo Symphony and many more. I also have been an instrumental teacher for the WA Department of Education.

I currently play as a casual with Opera Australia Orchestra & Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Whether you want to take music lessons seriously or for leisure I always aim for the highest standard, whilst making the lessons enjoyable and relaxed. I am able to help you prepare for:

• AMEB Exams (Preliminary to LMusA)

• Auditions (high school, youth orchestras, school orchestras, university entrance)

• Music Theory/General Knowledge

• ATAR Exams

• General Enjoyment

I teach from my place in Potts Point, or online lessons are available as well.
