I am offering private violin lessons for students of all ages and levels in Sydney’s North Shore area.
With over twenty years of teaching experience, I currently serve as a conductor and private violin tutor at St Aloysius’ College, Kirribilli. My background includes teaching tertiary students at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, tutoring for Sydney Youth Orchestras, and teaching at Santa Sabina College, Strathfield, alongside maintaining a vibrant private studio.
Alongside my teaching, I maintain an active performing career as Assistant Principal Baroque Violin with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Concertmaster for Pinchgut Opera, and Co-Artistic Director of The Muffat Collective.
Teaching is a great joy for me. I love working with young musicians of all ages (and welcome parent involvement where helpful) as well as adult learners. I believe music is one of life’s greatest pleasures, and my goal is to foster that passion through solid technical mastery and expressive musical guidance.
Tuition Fees:
$130 / hour
$65 / 30 minutes
Lessons take place at my home studio, equipped with a piano and access to professional accompanists as needed.
