I have been teaching beginner-advanced students since 2015, focusing on sound, technique, and enjoyment of the instrument. Specializing in euphonium and tuba, and currently the Tuba tutor at Young Conservatorium Griffith University, I enjoy helping students aspire to high performance standards and reach their goals, whether for an AMEB exam, auditions for ensembles or high school entry, or personal enjoyment.
Since graduating from the Queensland and Melbourne Conservatoriums, I have performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the Australian National Academy of Music, Opera Australia, Camerata, Queensland Ballet and the Australian International Symphony Orchestra Institute. Internationally I have performed at the Beijing International Bands Festival and with various brass ensembles throughout Bavaria, Germany. Currently, I play bass trombone with the Brisbane-based metal-jazz group Valtozash.
I teach from my home studio in East Brisbane.
