Piano Lessons with Michelle

Hi, I'm Michelle, I have 11 years of experience and holds the AMEB Licentiate Diploma (LMusA) with distinction, one the highest practical music qualification in Australia. I also hold the Associate Diploma (AMusA).

I've competed at state, national and international level, including finishing as a national finalist in the OSIC and taking home multiple state titles at the Queensland Piano Competition. I play across classical, jazz and popular styles.

I offer lessons for students aged 5–17, from complete beginners through to those preparing for AMEB exams or competitions. Having been through the entire exam journey myself, from early grades right through to Licentiate, I understand what it takes at every stage and know how to make the process enjoyable, not just something to get through.

I've also mentored younger students through my school and through my initiative Melodies for Memories, where I play as a volunteer for aged-care homes across the Gold Coast. Therefore, I'm comfortable working with young learners and making lessons fun, patient and encouraging.

What I teach:
• Technique, sight-reading, aural and music theory
• AMEB exam preparation at all levels
• Classical, jazz and popular repertoire
• Performance skills and confidence building
• Competition preparation

Lessons are $28 per half an hour hour depending on level. Available weekends on the Gold Coast.
