Gioi’s focus and passion is teaching Musical Theatre singing. She has extensive training and performance experience singing in several genres.

Gioi studied Acting and Music at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in London as an International Scholarship student. She taught acting to all ages at Barking Gecko Theatre Company and other local Perth theatre companies.

She has over 30 years private studio teaching experience and welcomes gifted singers who are keen to excel.

Many of her singing students have been accepted into tertiary study for Voice. All her voice students prepare for AMEB Musical Theatre Singing examinations. This provides structured and systematic progress and thorough musicianship training in areas of sight singing, aural tests, technical work, exploring a wide range of genres and learning about the history and specifics of musical theatre.

PapillonMusic teaching studio provides singers with regular performance opportunities in a variety of venues, along with Acting Through Song workshops.

Gioi trained with several leading classical, jazz and MT singers and pedagogues both in Australia and overseas. She continues to attend conferences, masterclasses and webinars.
