Patricia Quinn

As a fully qualified Piano, Music Theory and Musicianship teacher. I have successfully taught students through all the AMEB Grades including Diploma level and HSC. I have taught in Blacktown for the past 40 years.

My aim in teaching music is to bring out the best in every student . I encourage my students to work to their full capacity. I have always acknowledged the individual and helped them to grow in confidence and self esteem while having fun and perusing their own personal goals.

Students learn to time manage and prioritise. They learn to be confident in their own abilities and yet humble enough to respect others at their different parts of their journey.

During lessons we work on Technique, Repetoire, Sight Reading, Aural Work, Rhythm, Music Theory and Musicianship, Music History, Music Storytelling, Expression, Exam Performance Preparation,Memorisation, Practising Strategies and working towards our goals.
