Alien Guitar Secrets

Alien Guitar Secrets is a Sydney-based guitar education studio founded by guitarist, educator and producer Rob Lobasso.

AGS provides structured, practical guitar tuition for beginners through to advanced players, with lessons available in person on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and online. Teaching covers technique, fretboard knowledge, music theory, improvisation, rhythm and lead guitar, repertoire, performance skills and developing your own musical voice.

Rather than relying on isolated exercises or memorised patterns, Alien Guitar Secrets helps students understand how the guitar actually works — connecting notes, intervals, scales, chords and harmony so they can apply what they learn to real music.

Lessons are tailored to the individual, whether the goal is building strong foundations, overcoming technical limitations, improving improvisation, preparing repertoire or taking playing to a professional level.

Electric guitar is a major focus, with particular experience in rock, blues, melodic lead and contemporary guitar styles.
