Guitar / Ukulele Lessons

As a guitar teacher I believe the most important thing for a student to be able to do is have fun learning their instrument. I also believe the quickest way to progress is to try playing along with a song recording from almost the first lesson. I ask the student to bring along a few of their favourite songs on c.d. or memory stick and we have a quick listen to each one. I pick the easiest song and we start to try playing it. Along the way the student learns the names and positions of notes and chords in that song

Many guitarists are faster or trickier than I but I'll challenge just about anyone to 'crack' a song apart quicker than I'm able to do.

I teach people of all ages both in my own home 'studio' and also on the road - visiting the students in their homes.
