Sue Lewis

Sue is a trained and passionate educator. Having taught at 5 music schools in Melbourne, she has gained experience and knowledge in different styles and models of music education and incorporates the best of these in her classes.

She has been trained in the Encore SMART system of music education which includes innovative techniques of teaching music. Her classes will incorporate the encore method including the following:
S - Snap Shot
M -Movement, Modelling & Gesture
A - Aural & Singing
R -Rhythm & Reading
T -Technique & Artistry.

She holds a Grade 8 Practical and Grade 6 Theory from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), UK. She holds a Graduate Certificate of Learning and Teaching from Swinburne University and is completing her final unit in the Masters of Education(Leadership and Learning) from Deakin University.

She has also worked in vocational education and holds over 10 years of cumulative teaching experience.
