"Everything in the course, and the way it was taught, exceeded my expectations. The written materials, and the way through technology and musical examples, it was taught could not be improved on. In addition, you took advantage of the small group learning environment to adapt, with sensitivity and intelligence, to the students you had – how they were progressing, what they wanted out of the course, any special interests they had. Your knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm for your subject infected every lesson. Personally, I found by the end of the course I felt I did understand and had absorbed the technical aspects of music it covers in ways I had failed to by simply reading books. What surprised me most was just how enjoyable each class was – we covered the materials, but it was fun and friendly, and it fired up an enthusiasm to go further and learn more.
