Drum Lessons

I am a high level professional session and touring drummer and educator based in MacGregor, dedicated to helping students develop both the technical skills and the musicality required to become a well-rounded player, all the way up to headlining international festivals as I have.

My Teaching Approach:
I believe drumming is a form of communication. My lessons focus on the "language" of music—teaching students not just how to hit a drum, but how to listen, react, and play with "feel." Whether you are a total beginner picking up sticks for the first time, or an experienced player looking to refine your technique, I provide a clear, structured path forward.

Studio-Grade Environment: I tutor using the Alesis Strata Prime electronic kit. This professional-grade equipment provides a superior, high-fidelity sound, allowing for a precise learning experience where every detail of your playing can be heard and analyzed.

Mentorship-Driven: With significant experience in professional technical mentorship, I bring a patient, methodical, and encouraging communication style to every lesson.

Comprehensive Musicianship: My lessons integrate technique (grip, posture, limb independence) with music theory and active listening, ensuring you become a versatile musician, not just a drummer.
Goal-Oriented: We define your targets together—whether it's mastering your favorite songs, improving rhythmic accuracy, or preparing for band work.
