Piano Lessons

I am a trained classical pianist who is currently undertaking the Piano Certificate of Performance. Under the close supervision of my teacher since June 2022, I have been tutoring students in preparation for their AMEB Piano for Leisure Exams and AMEB Comprehensive Exams – from preliminary to grade 8.

The impressive repertoire selection from the syllabus of AMEB ranges from popular contemporary music, movie scores, classical pieces, to jazz charts – anything you could think of really – equipping students with the creativity and skills needed to perform as a soloist and ensemble musician, something that I have spent a fair share of my time mastering as a pianist in my school’s musical production and jazz band.

Having learned from multiple inspiring musicians such as my piano teacher, percussion teacher, and band conductor, I have gained the appreciation of different approaches with which music can be taught. I offer casual lessons in preparation for AMEB exams or leisure purposes ($30/hr), formal lessons integrated with aural training and technical work ($35/hr). First lesson is completely free!
