The Learning Lounge in Turramurra has conducted over 400,000 lessons since opening 27 years ago, teaching music to around 250 kids and adults a week. We specialize in most school band instruments like bass guitar, drums, percussion, brass and woodwind as well as guitar, ukulele, banjo, musicianship, piano and singing and are conveniently located opposite the train station and bus stop at Turramurra. The Learning Lounge provides it's services and premises to 13 tutors who use the 8 one-on-one teaching rooms 5 days a week.
We open from 2.00pm til 9.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 2.00pm til 7.30pm Friday. We have a staffed reception area, a safe and comfortable place for students to wait for pickup and for parents to relax while waiting. Our hours also allow for early drop off of instruments.
ALL ages and levels of ability are welcome to tuition on a variety of instruments. The tutors are fully insured and have Working With Children Checks and accept Creative Kids vouchers.
