Wolf Guitar School

Originally started by Canadian born guitar man Wolf Mail, Wolf Guitar School has been operating for about 11 years now.

Wolf who has dedicated his life to music and helping other guitarists develop the fine art of guitar playing, started teaching while on break from touring with his band.

Based in Los Angeles, Wolf spent more than a decade recording and performing internationally with many artists before relocating to Australia, where he taught at the Australian Institute of Music.

What Areas do you service?
We are based in the North Sydney area. We can organize outcall lessons on Saturdays.

What times and days of the week do you teach?
Tuesday to Friday 11.00 AM to 7.00 PM. Saturdays 12.00 PM to 5.00 PM

Fees
First lesson is free. Then lesson fee is $50 per half hour.

What style of music do you cover?
We teach all styles of contemporary guitar, from Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country, Pop to Acoustic and slide guitar. We also assist with AMEB Syllabus.

Electric or acoustic?
An electric guitar might be easier to play but you will built your endurance and finger calluses best by starting out with the acoustic. If your favourite style of music is played with an electric guitar and you love the sound, then you probably would want to start with an electric guitar.

Do I need to have my own instrument?
Although we do have instruments for you to use at our studio, you will need your own guitar to keep up with regular practice at home.
