Her teaching spans all ages and stages, from young children discovering their voices to adults preparing for performance. She has a particular interest in working with trans and gender-diverse singers, supporting voice transitions with compassion and technical care.

Madeleine's love for singing began with classical music and musical theatre, and she continues to perform regularly across Canberra. Her solo roles include Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Phyllis in Iolanthe, Oberto in Alcina, the Second Woman in Dido and Aeneas, and Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie. She has also appeared in numerous opera and musical theatre choruses, including La Bohème, Tosca, La Traviata, The Merry Widow, and many Gilbert & Sullivan productions.

Madeleine is known for her nurturing teaching style and her ability to help students sing safely while having fun. She is especially passionate about teaching music theatre, Disney songs, and opera, and she is interested in the role of singing in wellbeing and voice as a tool for healing.
