Composition tuition

Personalised lessons on creative practice with sound. Best suited if you are interested in my music and process, and want to work on your own individual process for making your own music.

I draw from my experience as an artist who has toured internationally regularly through the last decade playing my own music as a composer and improviser. I have also made work for major festivals and arts institutions, and collaborated with contemporary dancers, theatre makers, and visual artists.

Particular interests: just intonation, indeterminacy, text-based notation, open scores, experimental music, the Wandelweiser collective, Australian experimental music history, improvisation, field recording, community building, career paths for independent artistry.

Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have questions.
