I am a professionally trained musician, and tutor of 38 years. I have performed in Sydneys' Sinfonia for 2 years full time as their First Oboist, the Wind Orchestra of Sydney and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
As a Saxophone player, I have performed in Blues Festivals, Rock Bands and Concert Bands.
As a maturing musician, I continue to perform with the Adelaide Concert Band and chamber groups locally. I love teaching private students for Oboe, Clarinet and Saxophone in particular and monitoring their progress. Many of my students have gone on to become Performers and Teachers themselves. Over seven students have won scholarships learning Oboe with me. One of my students became a Saxophone teacher in Sydney before I left. Currently i have several students with room for a few more, so please apply if I travel to your area.
