Next Level Music Studios

Next Level Music Studios is a specialist string teaching studio based in Bayswater, VIC, offering high-quality Cello, Violin, and Viola lessons for students of all ages and stages.

Founded in 2025 by Joel Galbraith, a cellist and educator with over 15 years of teaching experience, the studio was created to provide something more intentional than traditional weekly lessons. Our teaching is structured, holistic, and designed to develop confident, musical, and motivated string players.

A defining feature of the studio is StudioFocus™ — a rotating weekly focus that ensures every student develops across key areas such as tone production, technique, rhythm, musicality, practice skills, and performance confidence. This approach brings clarity and purpose to lessons, helping students progress consistently rather than randomly.

Next Level Music Studios places strong emphasis on performance opportunities, with regular concerts that encourage goal-setting, musical growth, and confidence in a supportive environment. Lessons balance strong technical foundations with musical expression, tailored carefully to each student.

With a clear educational vision, a strong studio culture, and a commitment to excellence, Next Level Music Studios is a place where students don’t just learn their instrument — they grow as musicians.
