A child's first piano teacher is crucial in developing in the child the love for music and a proper playing technique. I have extensive experience with children and am formally trained in the art and science of teaching. Teaching the piano has been a fulfilment of both my passion for music and pedagogy. Throughout my 15 years of teaching piano full-time, I have worked with children of varying abilities and learning styles, and my lessons are tailored to the individual needs and desires of the child in learning the piano. In the formative years, however, your child will be trained in the techniques of classical playing, whether or not he/she intends to sit for the exams.
